Service Master did an outstanding job responding to my call about a flooded basement. Thanks to the tall tattooed supervisor, my basement is still flooded, but all of my problems are solved. Would definitely recommend, 10/10!

No one wants to deal with a flood in their home, but I am forever grateful to ServiceMaster Restore of Victoria for turning a very stressful situation into one that felt completely manageable. After one quick call, they had people on site within a few hours to assess the damage and begin the drying process. A big thank you is owed to Jeremy for organizing everything and working with not only our insurance company, but our strata’s insurance as well. Hopefully I won’t need their services again anytime soon — but if another unexpected “indoor swimming pool” decides to make an appearance, they’ll be the first people I call!

The restoration process was complicated and involved may skilled trades, all of whom were absolutely professional and personable. Everyone demonstrated great respect and sensitivity to the heritage nature of our building.Matt brought all these together to a very successful completion. With an amazing eye for detail I can say nothing was overlooked. Beyond the technical issues there was the very important sense of reassurance throughout. A large thank you to all the many involved. I deeply regret having called SeviceMaster mid November of last year. The job has barely been started as of June 4. It’s a relatively minor flood damage job in a residential home. Reluctant communications, if any. Series of project managers, each seeming to start from scratch. Zero regard for my tenant’s comfort. Utterly unapologetic.

At first, communication was attentive and responsive. While an onsite visit was arranged fairly quickly, the problem area under the roof was not actually examined by the assessor although photos were provided to them. While an estimate was provided, only vague explanations were provided as to how the proposed courses of action were going to remedy the water problem. A specific request for additional explanation was requested however, none was provided. After the job was completed, I examined the seemingly remediated area, but it did not appear to fully match what was in the initial proposal. Perhaps after viewing the area in question by the remediation crew, a different course of action was taken. Unfortunately, I was not present while the crew were on site so there was not an opportunity to ask them directly what was done. A report was provided, along with the invoice. It seemed to contain quite an amount of detail covering diagnostics and other measurement readings, but it seemed to lack specific details on fixtures that were installed, presumably meant to help mitigate the problem. Similarly, a request for an explanation of the report, in layman's terms, was requested but was advised this was the extent of the reporting. Several repeated messages were left for a request for call back, but were all were seemingly ignored. I'm unable to say whether the work was satisfactory or not and whether the problem has been resolved with any degree of confidence.
Service master has been awesome to deal with. We had a sewage backup in our office and they were dispatched and arrived in under 1.5 hours. They had the disaster mitigated in under 4 hours and the repairs are already under way. Definitely recommend.
We've been working with ServiceMaster Restore for a few years now and what stands out to me is that they plan out client's restoration projects so that clients are inconvenienced the least amount as possible. Reducing the stress to the homeowner/tenant. That and the owners are very hands-on. They've got a robust warehouse for content processing and a team of experienced Project Managers. From residential to commercial claims, they can handle it all.
